PRIVACY POLICY.

Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials when you create a Hook Lab account.

Content you create in the app: hooks, scripts, captions, media kits, product research, earnings entries you log, and similar work product you generate or save.

Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe gives us a customer reference, your subscription status, and limited card details such as brand and last four digits.

Usage data: basic analytics about how the app is used, such as pages visited, features used, and device and browser information, so we can keep the product working and improve it.

If you connect a TikTok Shop account, you authorize Hook Lab through TikTok's official authorization flow. We receive an access token and a refresh token for your TikTok Shop account, and we store those tokens on our servers only. Tokens are never sent to your browser and never shared with other users.

We use the TikTok Shop data we can access (such as your affiliate orders, commissions, showcase products, and performance reports) only to show it back to you in your own Hook Lab dashboard. We do not sell TikTok Shop data, and we do not use it to advertise to anyone.

You can disconnect a TikTok Shop account at any time from your Profile. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens for that account, and Hook Lab can no longer access that account's data.

You may connect more than one TikTok Shop account. Each account is stored separately and is visible only to you.

Account and app data is stored with Supabase (hosted Postgres) and protected by access controls so that each account can only reach its own data. Payment processing runs through Stripe. Email is sent through our email providers for account messages, receipts, and product updates you ask for.

To run your account and subscription, generate the content and reports you request, sync the dashboards you connect, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve Hook Lab. We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Hook Lab (such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for storage, and TikTok when you connect a TikTok Shop account), or when the law requires it.

You can update or delete content in the app at any time, disconnect connected accounts from your Profile, cancel your subscription from your Profile, and ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing matt@mattkahlajr.com.

Hook Lab is for users 18 and older and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and note the new date at the top.
